Little Girl Pleads: Stop Shooting Kids, ‘Let Me Grow Up’ in Video Sure to Go Viral

*Straight from the mouths of babes. This is a video circulating on social media and its proof that you don’t have to be up there in age to have wisdom.

A little African American girl, with fists balled up in anguish, wearing a pink shirt with white print that says “Don’t Shoot! Let me grow up!” is making righteous noise on social media.

The yet to be identified girl begins with, “I just want to talk about all these killings out here. Why can’t y’all just let us live?” she asks, looking straight into the camera. As the 4:36 minute video goes forth, the courageous little girl gets more and more emotional.

Any adult can sense the frustration coming from this child; whose ability to articulate the thoughts racing through her young brilliant mind, in real time, is clearly challenging.

But truth soldier that she is, she conquers, and her message is loud and clear.

“And when I say I want this world to stay the way it is, it is gotta stay the way its supposed to be. It’s not supposed to be some other way. What I am telling you right now, I know that I am not the only one who is going to live. I want other people to live too,” she says through mounting tears.

If you haven’t seen this video take a look at it below, if you have, share it. I have no doubt we will learn who this civil rights activist is soon on “The Talk” or “Ellen.”

Thanks to all of my social media friends for forwarding this to me including Jocelyn and Cheryl!
