Katelynn Carter became unresponsive while she was being watched by Cummings, her mother’s boyfriend. After being transported to a local hospital the child, who detectives say had bruises all over her body, succumbed.

Cold Case: 30 Years Ago This Clown Murdered the Wife of Her Future Husband…Police Finally Caught Her

Sheila Keen 30 years ago.

*All I can say is, if you’ve been roaming free for 30 years after murdering someone; a woman whose husband is now your husband, your arrest for the crime at this late date must have been more than a shock to your system.

But this is the story of one Sheila Keen Warren, 54, who police say walked up to the front door of the Warren house three decades ago dressed as a clown and carrying flowers and balloons, and shot Marlene Warren, the then-wife of Michael Warren, dead.

She then calmly turned and walked to her vehicle.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that Sheila Keen Warren — who had previously been named as a suspect, but was never arrested, did get arrested on Tuesday in Washington County, Virginia, without incident, according to Yahoo News.

Although they don’t know whether Michael Warren was involved in the crime, the two did marry a few years later.

In 2014, the Palm Beach County Sheriff?s Office Cold Case Unit reopened the homicide investigation.

“Witnesses were re-contacted and additional DNA analysis was conducted,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a release. “It was also learned that Sheila Keen had married Michael Warren, Marlene Warren?s husband, in 2002.”

The release continues, “Both had been living in Tennessee operating a restaurant together. As a result of the investigation, probable cause was established linking Sheila Keen Warren to the murder of Marlene Warren.”
