Synopsis

RAISING KINGS is a 17 ? minute dramatic short film based on Mark King being released from prison to learn everything has changed.? His father has been hospitalized, and his estranged son is a police officer with 2 sons.? His bad choices led to ultimately tore the family apart and Mark seeks to mend his past so he can heal his future.
My short film will be the catalyst for an adaptation to a digital web series.

Mark King has to make up for being incarcerated for 20 years by mending his broken relationships with his father and his son so he can build a future with and for his grandchildren.? Shattering the patterns of the past, taking responsibility for one?s mistakes and forgiving to build a uplifting future.
Upon his release he learns his father is sick and dying.? His son has become a police officer

Conclusion
The King Family forgives past mistakes and bad choices through therapy, communication, responsibility and accountability and begins bonding and building positive relationships for future generations.
