8th Grader In Illinois Accused of Murder Tells 911 Dispatch “The Man Inside Me” Did It!

8th grader calls 911 about killing dads girlfriend

*The child cried “It’s not fair” and said “I have no control over him” as he made an attempt to explain why “the man inside” him murdered his dad’s girlfriend, the woman he affectionately called “mom.”

According to Inside Edition, officials with the Champaign County Sheriff?s Office responded to a Mad River Township home Thursday night after Donovan Nicholas allegedly called 911 to say 40-year-old Heidi Fay Taylor was dead.

Nicholas lived with Taylor, who had been stabbed and shot by ?the person inside? the eighth grader, according to what the boy said in a 911 call obtained by the Springfield News-Sun.

?It wasn’t me who, who, it wasn?t me who killed her. It was Jeff,” Nicholas can be heard saying. “He sometimes takes control and I have no control. I have no control over him. It?s not fair.”

If this kid isn’t terribly ill, he is one darn good actor!

When asked why he ? or Jeff ? hurt Taylor, Nicholas said Jeff was “tired of her.”

“She always, she always did drugs and she totally like ignored me. Like, once she hit me and she was just ? she was done,” the teen reportedly said.

Man, I’m no psychologist, but this looks like a sure case of mental illness, schizophrenia, to me. Nicolas, 14, is said to have no prior behavioral issues. He goes on to explain to the dispatcher how he feels about “Jeff.”

?I didn?t ? I ? I didn?t want to kill her. I hate Jeff so much. He?s ? he ? he?s going to make me die in prison,” he continued.

Nicholas said he was also in a lot of pain, as he had been stabbed by Jeff in the leg.

?It hurts really bad,? he told the dispatcher.

The heartbreaking call ended when deputies were heard telling the boy to place his hands behind his back.

Taylor’s obituary speaks lovingly of her, and says she is the mother of two children with Nicolas’ dad. The boy is also named as one of her children.

Nicolas’ school put out a statement offering support to students and parents, and also held a special assembly where they addressed all of the students.

Nicholas was charged with one count each of aggravated murder and murder.

He appeared in Juvenile Court Friday, where prosecutors argued that he plotted the murder and planned to run away from the scene, but couldn?t because of his leg injury.

His attorneys are arguing mental health issues. The boy is set to appear in court again on April 19.
